LONDON -- In Game of Thrones, it's always nice to see a character who's been through a lot of miserable stuff finally catching a break.

For Sam, that break came in Sunday's finale when he reached the Citadel. After a mildly awkward conversation with a man behind a desk, he was told he could "use the library" while he waited for the archmaester to see him.

Twitter couldn't get enough of it.

There were plenty of Beauty and the Beast references.

And a very on-point Arthur reference.

Ultimately, though, the whole sequence served as a reminder of just how damn awesome Sam is.
