The apprentice has become the master in Game of Thrones Season 7, according to star Sophie Turner.

At the HBO show's San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday, Turner was asked whether she feels that Sansa is being manipulated by Littlefinger in Season 7, or whether she's playing the long game.

"I think initially there was definite manipulation on Littlefinger’s part, but as Sansa has grown and been a prisoner of all these master manipulators, especially Littlefinger, I think she’s been silently absorbing and learning and adapting," she teased.

"In my opinion," she added, "She’s just as good at playing the game as he is at this point."

Turner also thinks that Sansa has -- understandably -- become jaded by her experiences in Westeros, and no longer believes in love the way her idealistic younger self did.

"I don't think she's like Season 1 Sansa and she's particularly looking for a relationship or love at the moment," she admitted. "I think she's done with that. She's always on the search for happiness but she doesn't see the world through rose tinted glasses."

But Turner said Sansa doesn't particularly distrust men more than women, despite her experiences with Joffrey, Ramsay and Littlefinger. "In terms of seeing men in a different light, I think she sees the world in a different light," she said. "She's woke now, guys, she's real woke. She's cautious, she trusts no one -- whether it be man or woman, whether it be a family member or not -- and I think that's important when you play the Game of Thrones."

That earned an appreciative "ooh" from the audience, but then Turner lost the crowd by admitting the dead character she misses most is Joffrey -- controversial!

Turner recently told Mashable that Sansa is rapidly losing patience with constantly being mansplained to in the new season, by both Littlefinger and Jon Snow.

"She’s been through so much and she finally, with the help of Littlefinger, claimed back Winterfell, and now it’s kind of like, she’s still not getting the respect she deserves after everything she’s gone through," she explained. "Patriarchy is still playing such a huge part in her life and she’s frustrated by that and wondering why she needs men to justify her power."

Game of Thrones Season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
