Twitter couldn't help but notice how horny 'Game of Thrones' is now

Nothing like imminent death to amp up the sexual tension on 'Game of Thrones.'

In the second episode of the final season of Game of Thrones, everyone in Winterfell was prepared to die. The Night King was fast approaching, the populace was woefully unprepared, and every named character spent what they assumed was their last night on earth being horny as heck.

Season 8 episode 2, which was "coincidentally" the 69th episode of Thrones featured more characters making sexy eyes at each other than perhaps all other seasons combined, letting the threat of imminent death fuel their desire to get to the bone zone before the army of the dead (a different, worse kind of bone zone) came for their lives.

Paramount amongst the sex-crazed citizens of the Seven Kingdoms were Arya and Gendry, who made good on seasons-old romantic tension to nail each other to a pile of sacks in a basement, which Twitter took very well.

Tormund Giantbane took second place as the most horny character this episode, after telling a fun story about sucking at a giant's breast and then lasciviously guzzling fermented milk out of, and this is not a joke, an oversized drinking horn.

Tormund's passion for Brienne of Tarth was tempered by horny boy #3, Jaime Lannister, whose interactions with Brienne of Tarth made the whole Tormund-Brienne-Jamie thing a quintessential love triangle.

Sexual tension exploded off the screen, with bizarro pairings popping up left and right. Like, are Sansa and Theon thinking what we think they're thinking?

Mashable editor Angie Han even noticed some sparks between Daenerys and Sansa in a confrontation scene that was significantly spicier than it had any business being.

Long story short, everyone's toast in Episode 3 so Thrones had to get all that residual sexiness out of the way before stuff gets real next week.

Game of Thrones...thank you for episode 69.
