'Game of Thrones' stars singing Tom Waits will carry you through the long, dark winter
One of the most divisive episodes of Game of Thrones ever saw the union of several of our favorite characters ambling north of The Wall, Magnificent Seven-like, to find a White Walker.
Some of us loved it, other people (who are wrong) did not. But the episode did little to change our love of characters like Tormund or The Hound.
And neither will this wonderful video of those same guys trying their best to croon the Tom Waits classic, “I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You."
This behind-the-scenes video comes courtesy of Tormund himself, Kristofer Hivju, perhaps channeling some of that "will they or won't they?" angst about Brienne of Tarth. Or Jorah's longing for Danaerys?
Thats Hivju singing alongside Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) with Rory McCann (Sandor Clegane aka The Hound) doing what he does best: lurking mysteriously in the background.
For all the talk of other cut scenes from this season, the producers really missed out by not having these guys sing more Tom Waits (maybe "Dead and Lovely") while surrounded by White Walkers.
