This 'Game of Thrones' episode got the most tweets
Unless you've been living with the faceless men in Braavos, it's no surprise that Game of Thrones was the most-tweeted show of 2016.
As Season 7 approaches, the show has already been tweeted about 13.8 million times in 2017. Wednesday morning, Twitter shared rankings of the show's most talked-about episodes, characters, and emoji. Now that winter is here, you can expect those numbers to soar.
As Thrones fever rises over time, four of the five most-tweeted episodes ever were from Season 6, including the premiere, the finale, Jon's infamous resurrection, and the rigorous "Battle of the Bastards."
The Winds of Winter (Jun 26, 2016) - Season 6
The Red Woman (Apr 24, 2016) - Season 6
Battle of the Bastards (Jun 19, 2016) - Season 6
Mother's Mercy (Jun 14, 2015) - Season 5
Home (May 01, 2016) - Season 6
