Game of Thrones Season 6 spoilers below, but this is assuming you've watched it.

Look, we can't wait for the next season of Game of Thrones, either. But it ain't coming soon.

The news broke this week that Season 7 will not air until the summer of 2017, which will make the off-season a bit tougher as you stew on this season's twists and deaths. It also means you people may risk taking things too far, so consider some healthy and less healthy ways to bide your time until Season 7.

You May Also Like

1. Reading or re-reading the Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R. R. Martin — Healthy

Reading is good, and the five books in the series (until The Winds of Winter is hopefully published this year) have been popular enough for their own TV adaptation.

2. Attempting to write The Winds of Winter yourself before the real one is published — Unhealthy

Not only is this unhealthy, it's unprofitable. This book and several characters in it are protected by copyright. You couldn't sell this book unless you convinced people that you're the real George R. R. Martin, which is Even More Unhealthy.

3. Keeping bearded dragons as pets, and naming them after Daenerys Targaryen's dragons — Healthy

So long as you know how to care for little Drogon, who can grow up to two feet in length. A proper diet and environment will keep them Healthy

4. Keeping Komodo dragons as pets, and naming them after Daenerys Targaryen's dragons - Unhealthy

This Indonesian monitor lizard is an example of "island gigantism" and can grow up to 10 feet long, so Big Drogon is still smaller than Game of Thrones dragons but larger than you. It's also endangered, so keeping one would be Illegal.

5. Naming your child after a Game of Thrones character — Ehhhh, Sure, Healthy

You wouldn't be the first, and if you're truly out of ideas, "Arya" or "Tyrion" is a more interesting choice than something boring like "Jane" or "Steve," which is just plain Uncreative.

6. Telling your child a huge reveal about their true parents, so they'd be like Jon Snow — Unhealthy

The Lyanna Stark reveal was cool on the show, but Game of Thrones should never be an excuse to tell your child you're not their real parent. And when they're in therapy years later explaining the whole fiasco, their therapist will agree that what you did was Unhealthy.
