'Great British Bake Off' contestant accidentally makes NSFW bread

Great British Bake Off may be a show about warm loaves and sticky buns, but we all know where its appeal comes from. Sex sells, folks.

Normally the innuendo is restricted to cheeky asides and puns from the presenters. And since the show hired some new hosts after moving from BBC to Channel 4, the presenters have definitely stepped up to the plate.

The last episode however ratcheted up the sex-aspect with a Freudian slip about a loaf of bread:

The loaf was supposed to be a snail underneath a mushroom, but the internet had another interpretation of the yeasty masterpiece. The reactions ranged from coy...

To, well, less coy...

It turns out that the loaf was as delicious as it was phallic, so its creator Julia was awarded the title of star baker!

Will the snail loaf make Bake Off ease up on the sex jokes or throw themselves into it even more? If this tweet from their official account is anything to go by the answer is quite clear:
