It's been an uplifting few days for Geoffrey Owens, The Cosby Show mainstay who was shamed for having a day job at supermarket.

Once devastated about the photos, things have turned around for Owens, after an outpouring of support from other celebrities and the wider public.

On her Beats 1 show Thursday, Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj said she'd be donating $25,000 to Owens, angry at the people who took photos of Owens while he was bagging groceries at work.

"This man is a whole fucking legend," she said. "Y'all don't know how difficult it is to keep getting jobs. You don't know how hard it is to get your first acting job. And you want to put somebody up on the internet?"

Owens also told The Hollywood Reporter he quit his job at Trader Joe's after he caught wind of the fact the photos were being published, and prepared for a fallout.

"I imagined the worst-case scenario to brace myself, and it somehow managed to be worse than I expected," he told the publication.

"The pictures of me, the words that were used to describe me, were so demeaning. It was humiliating, acutely, for a very short time — and then there was this amazing rescue from the world."

Now Owens is mulling over a "whole handful" of television offers, including a potential offer from filmmaker Tyler Perry to work on an OWN drama.

Despite the flood of offers, Owens said in an earlier interview with Good Morning America that he's reluctant accepting jobs as a result of the incident.

"I wouldn't mind getting auditions ... but I actually wouldn't feel comfortable someone giving me a job because this has happened. I want to get a job because I'm the right person for that job," he told the show.
