Your soy sauce has never looked more designy.

These clever dipping dishes allow your soy sauce to flow and settle in neat geometric shapes, so you can create your own Penrose triangle at the dinner table.

The 'Soy Shape' dishes come in both triangle and cube version, and were created by British designer Duncan Shotton, who lives in Tokyo.

Shotton launched the project earlier this month on Kickstarter, which recently met its funding goal. The dishes are made in Japan and backers are set to receive the goods in October, according to the campaign page.

The designer has also successfully funded several of his previous projects on Kickstarter.

One of which, 'Rainbow Pencils', are pencils made from recycled paper that create shaving-rainbows when sharpened. Another, 'Sticky Page Markers', is a set of themed Post-it-style sticky notes that create a landscape scene on a book's edge when placed on pages.
