A look back at George Michael's legendary career
British pop singer George Michael died Christmas Day, leaving behind an epic musical career and that iconic image of his feathered hair and single earring.
His musical career began in the 1980s when the duo Wham! rose to fame. He later broke out on his own, starting his solo career in the disco-dance-pop world by singing in a duet with Aretha Franklin while on tour.
He was still performing around the world despite health issues in recent years.
