Ghost in the Shell isn't opening for another week and a half, but when it does you can rest assured they'll waste no time cutting right to the action.
Paramount has just shared the first five minutes of the sci-fi actioner, which sees the crime-fighting cyborg Major (Scarlett Johansson) kicking robot butt.

While Johansson's definitely got action chops to spare, her casting has proven controversial, with many fans criticizing the decision to whitewash this uniquely Japanese property.
Ghost in the Shell is in theaters March 31.
