Tourists devour 2 tons of free tofu in under 2 hours
Communal eating can be a really fun affair, especially when it involves 5,000 people gathering at a Taoist site in Henan, China, to feast on a giant tofu dish.
Zhongtianmen Square in Laojunshan mountain is a pilgrimage site for Taoists in China, where people gather annually to share a huge dish of tofu. The Taoists believe that tofu is a blessing from the heavens and will bring good luck upon consumption.

On Saturday, a circular tofu dish bearing the Tajitu pattern -- a Tai Chi symbol representing yin and yang -- was displayed at the public square.
Revellers were invited to help themselves to the dish free-of-charge, as part of the festivities.
Before everyone got to tuck in, they were treated to a group Tai Chi performance.
According to China Daily, the dish weighed a whopping two tonnes, had a diameter of five metres and was made out of 1,000 kilograms of soybeans donated by pilgrims.
The dish was polished off in under two hours.
