'Gilmore Girls' just dropped an amazing trailer, so there goes the rest of your day

Get ready to run around your office like Kirk runs around Stars Hollow: the Gilmore Girls trailer is finally here.

The trailer is our first extended look at the girls, and it does not disappoint. We've got Batfleck jokes, Emily in a T-shirt (!), a wall-size portrait of Richard and more. (Team Jess ladies, fair warning, you're going to want to sit down for this one.)

What we've seen of the plot seems to show that Emily (Kelly Bishop), Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) are all in periods of transition. Emily is dealing with the death of Richard, Lorelai -- who notes she's happily in a relationship with Luke -- is wondering what she wants out of her life, and Rory appears to be struggling with a journalism career that doesn't seem to be going so well.

The trailer also features quick images of nearly all your faves, including Melissa McCarthy reprising her role as Sookie St. James.
