Human giraffe mom announces her birth with a ridiculous Facebook post

Congratulations on the calf... I mean baby.

The world is still watching and waiting in anticipation for April the giraffe to give birth to her calf on livestream.

However, for the giraffe birth video spoofer Erin Deitrich, the wait is finally over.

Dietrich -- whose hilarious livestream spoof of the giraffe birth went viral last week -- went to the hospital in labor yesterday. While labor and delivery can be a stressful and tiresome feat, Dietrich couldn't help but have a little more fun with the giraffe mask.

Dressed in a hospital gown and giraffe head, she livestreamed a video of herself from her hospital bed. The hilarious spoofer gave the camera a thumbs up and carried on for an awkward three and a half minutes.

After the birth of her son, Dietrich took to Facebook to share the wonderful news and her announcement was ridiculously hilarious in a way that only the internet would understand.

Congratulations on your newest family addition! Let's hope April's own bundle of joy isn't too far behind.
