Girl texts a wrong number and receives compliments from a big family of strangers

Sometimes one reply can brighten up someone's day... even if it's from a complete stranger.

Sydney (@syuselton) needed an opinion on a dress, and she sent an accidental text to the wrong number. Instead of being ignored or corrected, she received the sweetest response from one big family.

Her friend kindly tweeted the moment for all to see and it had all of Twitter melting at the interaction.

After the misguided text, Sydney got a text back from Tony Wood, a father of six instead.

"I believe this message was intended for someone else. My wife isn't home, so I couldn't her opinion, but kids and I think you look stunning in your dress! You should definitely go with that one!" Wood replied.

People couldn't get enough of the reply, especially with the image of his kids giving thumbs up in approval.

The tweet has so far garnered over 95,000 retweets and 400,000 likes. However, some pressing questions still need to be answered.

The viral tweet also brought attention to the big family's Facebook page for their son who's battling Leukemia. Along with Wood's wife, his son wasn't present in the photo. But soon enough, both gave their approval to the dress as well.
