Dad takes daughter's phone away, follows up with best troll
A phone time-out is a tragedy for anyone, especially for a young girl. One dad decided to make the whole ordeal 1200 times worse with a note.
According to a Reddit post Tuesday morning on r/pics, a dad had slipped a note under her daughter's bedroom door that appeared to display a series of text messages.
It wasn't a transcription of messages from a friend. Rather, the dad wanted to show that he really cared about his daughter, and he wondered why she wasn't answering him.
Oh wait ...
The thread inspired a series of comments, many just about the quality of the T-Mobile network.
The note had revealed the "phone" was on T-Mobile -- a detail that is known to be a screenshot faux pas. It got quite heated.
Thankfully, the note had great Wi-Fi reception.
Nice job, Daddio. We're sure she'll remember those painful texts next time.
