Here's what happens when you break your foot at graduation

Man, getting that diploma is more dangerous than we thought.

Graduation photo shoots are a perfect way to commemorate a celebratory day -- even if you happen to break your foot in the process.

That was the case for Reddit user Typic0le's girlfriend who put on her cap, gown and heels to take some joyful pictures and celebrate her hard work.

What started out as two idyllic graduation poses -- one of her standing with cap in hand, and another of her throwing her cap in the air, jumping for joy -- unfortunately ended in injury.

A mere 10 minutes into the photoshoot you can see the girl is clearly hurt, but still optimistically sporting her graduation cap and a smile. She's pictured sitting on the stairs, resting her broken foot with a police officer nearby.

By the fourth photo, it's clear she's down for the count. She changed into casual clothing and moved on to a wheelchair.

But considering the final image, we don't think she took it too hard.

Man, getting that diploma is even more dangerous than we thought.
