Have you ever really wanted a doughnut, but thought to yourself, "Ugh, it's just way too dark to eat one right now. I can't see a thing?"

Well now a pastry shop in Australia is solving all your problems.

Black Star Pastry has created Glonuts -- glow-in-the-dark doughnuts that may as well be brewed up in a bubbling cauldron somewhere.

Although the sweet treats look positively radioactive, the doughnuts' icing is a yuzu glaze that gets its glow from vitamin B, which is often used to create glow-in-the-dark food.

According to Daily Mail, Yuzu, which looks like a cross between a lemon and an orange, is a citrus fruit that is often used in Japanese cuisine and is actually quite tart.

Glonut creator and owner of Black Star Pastry, Chirstopher Thé said, "We would never create anything that was unnatural, even if it was a great idea. BlackStar is all about great techniques and real cooking, we never add dyes or additives to any of our products. We strictly adhered to this principle in order to make the glow-in-the-dark donut happen."

OK, that makes us feel better about wanting to eat ten of these.

The Glonuts are up for grabs at Sydney's Vivid Festival at the Glow Cave Dessert Bar, which runs now until June 17.

According the Black Star Pastry's website, Thé came up with the idea while walking around last year's Vivid Festival, trying to find a way to link food with the light show. The concept took a year and a light-proof structure to perfect.

"Seeing the amazing Vivid light show is one thing, eating it is another!," the website states. "Just the thought of people eating glow in the dark food at the world famous Vivid festival of light was an amazing challenge we just couldn’t resist!"

If you're lucky enough to find yourself at the Vivid Festival (which looks SO cool, btw), make sure to drop by the Glow Cave Dessert Bar, and grab yourself one of these $7 Glonuts to make your tongue, and probably the inside of your stomach, glow.
