Beauty pageants around the world are scorned for holding women to unrealistic beauty standards -- but exceptions are made for goats.

On Sunday, the village of Ramygala, in Lithuania, held their annual goat beauty pageant. While the competition was brutal -- there were many fair goats competing for just one crown -- judges finally awarded the crown to Demyte, the 16-year-old goat known by its millions (dozens) of fans as "Little Spot."

Demyte belongs to 76-year-old retired veterinarian Ferdinandas Petkevicius, who had spent the past six years trying to get Demyte to win.

"The only thing we didn't do to prepare the goat for the pageant is we didn't polish its nails - because we thought of it too late," Petkevicius admitted to Reuters.

Still, Demyte -- sporting two beautiful black beauty spots -- captured the hearts of her audience and judges. Six other goats were paraded before the judges, while multiple other ones were feeling self-conscious and had to be carried.

The judges included local member of parliament, the head of the local school and a cucumber farmer.

500 people attended the pageant in soaring temperatures just for their chance to meet Lithuania's next top goat. The pageant also included dancers, and a costumed "king" and "queen" presiding.

For the victory, Petkevicius was awarded cakes, jars of honey, books and coupons for a haircut. This is the pageant's 646th year.
