Atlanta has snatched its first Golden Globe for Best TV Comedy, beating out Black-ish, Mozart In The Jungle, Transparent and Veep.

Show creator Donald Glover giddily accepted the award on behalf of the cast and crew of the show, many of whom joined him on stage.

It’s the first Golden Globe nomination for the show and for Glover, who plays Earn, a college dropout navigating life and the rap scene in Atlanta.

"I really just wanna thank Atlanta and all the black folks in Atlanta for real for being alive and doing amazing and being amazing people," Glover said, flustered. "I couldn't be here without Atlanta," he continued before thanking hip hop group Migos -- "not for being in the show but for making 'Bad and Boujee.' That's the best song ever."

No lies detected.

"We didn't think anybody was gonna like the show so we appreciate it," Glover said.

FX likes it enough to have ordered a second season of the Atlanta. Thank goodness.
