Hugh Laurie wasn't afraid to throw some shade at the Golden Globes.

During his acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Miniseries or Movie on Sunday, the actor joked this may be the last Golden Globes.

"I don't mean to be gloomy but it has the words 'Hollywood,' 'foreign' and 'press' in it," he said, referencing the coming Donald Trump administration.

That was the first of many political jokes the British actor, who won for his role in AMC's The Night Manager, cracked during his speech.

"I accept this award on behalf of psychopathic billionaires everywhere," he joked, a burn once again pointed Donald Trump's way.

Twitter agrees, Laurie's speech was funny.

Laurie beat Sterling K. Brown ( The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), John Travolta (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), John Lithgow (The Crown) and Christian Slater (Mr. Robot).

The win came as a surprise, given the popularity of FX's hit mini-series The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Even Laurie was shocked.

"This is obviously a terrible mix-up," he said.
