Finally, a little extravagance in the New York City restroom experience.

As part of a new exhibit entitled "America" at New York's Guggenheim Museum, Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan replaced the fourth-floor toilet with a functional 18-karat gold toilet.

Worth between $1 million and $1.7 million, the shiny john is hooked up to the museums regular old plumbing system.

It's contemporary art, and you can poop on it. There's truly something for everyone.

To use the toilet, visitors only have to pay the $15 museum entrance fee, meaning that, basically, you end up paying more to use the bathroom at a Cheesecake Factory. It's a great deal, and we should all be strongly considering making a visit.

According to Fox, the toilet will require a cleaning after each use and will also be watched over by a lucky full-time security guard.

Sure, your bathroom experience will be scrutinized more closely than you're used to, but this thing is gold, you guys.
