Hello, people of the Comic Book Convention of New York City!

My name is Aziraphale, I’m an angel, and I’ve been sent unto you from Heaven above to deliver the Good News. Yes, that Good News: the television adaptation of Terry Prachett and Neil Gaiman’s beloved book Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch will premiere soon on Amazon Prime Video! And take it from my boss upstairs, Good Omens has it all. Drama? Well, only the End of the World and the fate of all humanity hanging in the balance. Buddy comedy? Take my companion, the devil Crowley — please! Intrigue? Witches? Car chases? Check, check, and check.

Do clear your schedules for the 2019 premiere. I can’t say that’s a commandment, exactly, but it’s rather good advice. Even better, join us to celebrate the show!

On Saturday, the 6th of October at 9:00pm, the good people of Mashable and IGN will co-host a Good Omens soiree at Lightbox on 248 West 37th Street, a quick walk from the Jacob Javits Center, which can be stimulating on a brisk autumn evening. Less if you have wings. The night’s theme: Heaven and Hell. Join us for food, cocktails, dancing, and more!

Be sure to RSVP, as I’m sure Hell can become quite crowded very quickly. But, I am sure that it all works out for the best — as in the end, the plan is ineffable.

Have fun while you can — after all, the End is nigh.
