It’s hard to believe Google has been making its own in-house Android phones for more than six years now, but here we are with the Pixel 7 almost upon us.

The bad news is that you still have to wait for Google to do a whole livestream to show off the phone in all its glory. But the good news is that you can at least watch the announcement stream live from the comfort of your own home.

You can also check out our liveblog for the latest announcements.

The "Made By Google" event will be livestreamed on Google’s event website and on YouTube on Oct. 6 at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET.

As for the day's itinerary, we have a good feel for what to expect because, well, Google already announced the event's two main products back in May. At its I/O event this past spring, Google gave us brief glimpses of both the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch, and those will surely be the stars of the show.

The Pixel 7 has been slightly redesigned with a glossier horizontal camera bar on the back and is reportedly a little more stout but lighter than the Pixel 6. A major leak just days ahead of the event gave us some hints of what the Pixel 7's specs might look like and the conclusion seems to be "very similar to the Pixel 6." The display sizes, refresh rates, and camera specs all seem to hew closely to the Pixel 6, with bigger changes we don't know about yet surely coming on the software side.

We know less about Google's upcoming smartwatch, the Pixel Watch, but a leaked starting price point of $350 puts it on the more expensive end of the Android smartwatch spectrum. One leak over the weekend confirmed it'll include tracking for heart rates, sleep, and even electrocardiograms (ECG).

As for what other surprises Google might have in store, you’ll just have to watch the livestream to find out.
