A week ahead of the official announcement, an (almost) complete spec sheet for Google's Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones has leaked.

The news comes via Android Authority, whose staff has seen an internal document listing the specs, and confirmed it with a source with knowledge of Google's plans.

According to the report, both phones will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. They'll either come with 64 or 128GB of storage (RAM isn't mentioned in the report), and they'll both come with stereo speakers -- but no headphone jack.

Both phones will have an E-Sim card slot, and they'll both run Android O. Finally, both the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL will be dust- and water-resistant up to IP67 specs, and will come with Gorilla Glass 5.

It's unclear whether the Pixels will have a single or dual rear camera; what's known is that both phones will come with a Google Imaging Chip as well as optical image stabilization.

The two phones will be considerably different when it comes to design and battery size. The larger Pixel 2 XL will have a 3,520mAh battery, while the Pixel 2 will only have a 2,700mAh battery, a considerable difference.

Even more importantly, while the Pixel 2 will be quite similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 2 XL will feature a new design with a QHD curved (it's unclear what curved means, exactly, but we presume it means curved edges) screen with very slim bezels, similar to the top Android flagships today such as the Galaxy S8 or the LG V30.

There are still quite a few details missing, including the design (we've seen leaked images of both devices' back sides, though) and the price. Furthermore, the original Pixel phones were notable because of their amazing cameras, and we won't know much about how they perform until we can test them out.

The official launch day for the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL is Oct. 4; we'll cover the announcement as it unfolds, so stay tuned for more news.
