OK, Google you win search.

According to unsurprising 2015 data released by market survey company Roy Morgan Research, the search engine is well and truly beating its competitors in Australia.

The sample of 50,276 Internet users indicated an estimated 16,903,000 Australians older than the age of 14 visited the search engine at least once during a four week timeframe. In that same period, 1,929,000 visited Bing and 1,820,000 visited Yahoo!7.

All up, Australians spent an estimated 552 million hours searching on Google in 2015. That's a lot of time asking the Internet "when will Star Wars: Episode VIII come out."

Bing and Yahoo!7 can't even keep it exclusive with those who do use their platform: 99 percent of people using the two search engines also used Google.

Not only that, customers using multiple platforms still spend way more time on Google. Bing customers may use the search engine for 24 minute on average every four weeks, but they are also Googling away for an average of three hours in that same period. The wee guys can't catch a break.

Roy Morgan provided a graph demonstrating the trend. As the company pointed out, the tiny sliver of orange on the Bing and Yahoo!7 columns are the handful of Aussies who are using those platforms without ever turning to the rainbow giant. You'll need a magnifying glass to tell how many, so clearly, they are few.
