Gorilla Man is still crawling the London Marathon three days later

It's for a good cause.

The London Marathon ended the same day that it started for all but one man -- Mr. Gorilla a.k.a. Gorilla Man.

The man in the gorilla suit -- police officer Tom Harris -- is still making his way to the finish line.

Harris is crawling the 26 miles "gorilla-style" to raise money for The Gorilla Organization. He is expected to complete the marathon on Thursday or Friday.

Harris has been documenting his journey on his Twitter, posting photographs and videos of his progress.

Now you might think that this stunt is bizarre, but the campaign is totally working. The marathoner's donations on his JustGiving page have already exceeded his initial goal by over 500 percent.

We admire his dedication to the cause. Gorilla lovers everywhere thank you.
