Gorillaz announce a new album with a bonkers list of collaborators
Here's some sunshine in a bag to help you get through the day -- after a few months of teasing, Gorillaz have officially announced their first album in six years.
Humanz will be released on April 28, and the list of collaborators revealed via Instagram is pretty incredible. Grace Jones, Carly Simon, Pusha T, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown and D.R.A.M. are among the artists tagged in the series of posts announcing the album.
Humanz is Damon Albern and Jamie Hewlwett's followup to the last Gorillaz release, 2010's Plastic Beach. The band will premiere the entire album live at a secret location in London on Friday March 24. You can get more information about the event here. Gorillaz will also be hosting a music festival, Demon Dayz, in June.
