Grandson opens letter from grandma written during 1991 total solar eclipse and finds the sweetest note
This grandma just might be the sweetest person in the galaxy.
Reddit user davedavedaveck (whose name is actually Trevor) shared a picture of what just might be the kindest letter ever written from his grandma, dating back to July 11, 1991.
The day the note was written was the day of a total solar eclipse, and per Trevor's grandma's request, he wasn't allowed to open the letter until 2017 ahead of the total solar eclipse occurring in August.
"Today we had a total eclipse and the next one is in the year 2017 — so I thought this was such a special day in the first year of year of you life [sic] that I would make a note of it," this kind grandma wrote.
She also wrote about how much she loved her grandson, and wondered what he'd be up to at the age of 26.
"I wonder what you will be doing at the age of 26?? I do know that you are the cutest baby ever and we love you lots."
Then, as a finishing touch, she closed the letter with a cute self-portrait drawn under her signature.
