Super strong 78-year-old grandmother deadlifts 225 pounds with ease
Shirley Webb used to rely on mowing her lawn for exercise. But that was before she hit the gym.
Now, the 78-year-old grandmother exercises regularly, visiting a local fitness club twice a week. Her trainer, John Wright, told ESPN that although he's never had a client her age before, he's very impressed with her progress.
And by "progress," we mean her current ability to deadlift 225 pounds.

Since her training began, Webb has set deadlifting records in both Illinois and Missouri, but best of all, she's feelin' great.
"When I go to the gym and work out, when I leave, I feel so much better than I did when I went in, and I just feel so good. I feel tremendous," she said.
Next, Webb hopes to set a U.S. record -- and although there isn't yet such a record for her age group, she's just badass enough to get it started.
Go, Shirley, go.
