Oftentimes Twitter is a chaotic mess, but every once in a while an extremely touching video circulates and reminds you that social media has the amazing power to uplift people.

On Saturday, Brianna Valle shared one of those feel-good videos, in which her 76-year-old grandfather, Arnulfo, can be seen learning that he's officially a U.S. citizen.

Upon receiving Arnulfo's citizen passport card, Valle's grandmother laid it out on the table for him to find when he got home and recorded his heartwarming reaction. Arnulfo, who is deaf, can be seen screaming with joy, laughing, and throwing his arms in the air.

"He went to the ceremony to become a citizen last month, and he applied for the passport," Valle explained in a Twitter message. "He's not very familiar with the process and when he had to turn in his citizen certificate and his green card in order to get the passport, he became distressed after a few weeks when he still didn't receive the passport."

Valle went on to share that her grandpa grew increasingly stressed when he would see immigration-related news reports, and "became afraid knowing he didn’t have any proof of being a citizen or a resident." When he arrived home and saw his passport on the table, however, he "felt huge relief" because he no longer had to doubt "the fact that he was going to stay a citizen."

"In the video he says 'God this is all I've asked you, and you gave it to me' so basically it was his dream," Valle explained. "In the middle of the video he even said 'I'm going to get a heart attack.'"

"He studied so hard for so long but because of his disability and age it was harder for him to learn and understand the questions."

Valle said that her grandmother sent her the video later that night and after seeing it she started crying.

"The next day, he proudly showed us his passport card and we all congratulated him," Valle said. Congrats, Arnulfo!
