The GTA 6 trailer just dropped a day earlier than expected.
Rockstar Games announced that the trailer of the highly anticipated action-adventure game was due to drop on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. ET, but as it turns out, the video game publisher dropped it on Monday afternoon instead.

Rockstar Games unleashed the trailer ahead of schedule because an X user with the moniker @Gtatrailerleak dropped an unofficial glimpse of the trailer at 5:30PM ET. The account is now suspended. According to The Verge's Tom Warren, X shut down the account at 6 p.m. ET.

At 6:10 p.m. ET, Rockstar Games posted the official trailer on YouTube.
GTA 6 is poised to release on PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. There's no mention of the game coming to PC.
