Netflix is bringing one of the best games ever to iOS. Here's how to access it.
It's time to escape from hell. Again.
On March 19, you'll be able to do that as much as you want, whenever you want, as Netflix is bringing Hades to iOS on that day. Supergiant Games' classic rogue-lite action game will be available on the mobile platform with new, customizable controls, 60 frames per second performance, achievements, and more, exclusively through a Netflix subscription.
If you've never played a game through Netflix before, the instructions are very simple. All you have to do is download the app, log in with a valid Netflix account, and you're good to go. Users can pre-register to get Hades on March 19 now.

In Hades, you play as Zagreus, the son of the titular ruler of the underworld. It's a randomly generated, run-based game about trying (and failing) to escape from Hell over, and over, and over, and over again. There are several weapons to try, countless combinations of upgrades from figures throughout Greek mythology to play with, and many, many opportunities to kick ass (and have your ass kicked).
Oh, and it's got a genuinely touching story with great writing and voice acting that advances the more you play.
Hades topped Mashable's Game of the Year list in 2020 for all of the reasons listed above. If you missed out on it then, don't miss out on it now.
