If you want to decorate a Christmas tree for Halloween, no one is going to stop you

It's almost Halloween, which is a different holiday than Christmas. But that's not stopping some people.

It appears that "Halloween trees," which are Christmas trees decorated with Halloween items, are gaining popularity in the holiday decor community. To be clear, that is fine with us. If you want to decorate a Halloween tree this year, we are not going to stop you -- if you don't celebrate Christmas, for example, it's a fun way to hack the system and have a tree anyway.

We only ask that you think about it first.
