Cast of 'Hamilton' pays fitting tribute to Prince with dance party
The cast of Hamilton paid tribute to late music legend Prince with a dance party fit for royalty -- just hours after the star's death.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator and star of the hit Broadway musical, ended Thursday night's performance with an impromptu dedication to Prince.The musician died Thursday morning at his home in Minnesota after being found unresponsive in an elevator.
In the final moments of Thursday night's performance, Hamilton cast members launched into a frenetic dance party to “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Shortly after the news first broke, Miranda tweeted about his heartbreak over Prince's death.

"Step away from your computer. Walk around, blast some Prince. It's the only thing that has saved my day, it may save yours," he continued.
