Fisherman captures footage of epic battle between hammerhead and tiger shark
Despite what totally realistic movies like Sharknado and The Shallows (or the original Jaws) tell you, sharks aren't usually dangerous. To us.
To each other, they can be brutal. In an admittedly unusual occurrence, fisherman William Wall discovered a hammerhead shark and a tiger shark in a fight to the death just outside of his fishing boat, located off the coast of Venice, Louisiana.
His friend Ryan Willsea used a GoPro to check things out.
It looks like the tiger shark swam away with the win at the end -- an impressive feat considering Wall estimated the hammerhead to be at least 7-feet long.
