Lenovo's newest Yoga 920 is pretty, but is it worth the price?

Naturally, it comes in this season's hot shade of bronze.

It's thin, light and almost bezel-less. But is Lenovo's new hybrid laptop worth the price?

From the copper body, to the Yoga's signature 360 degree "watchband" hinge, there's no doubt Lenovo's Yoga 920 ticks all the boxes aesthetically.

The Lenovo 920, which launched on Thursday at IFA, has managed to make the most of its 13.9 inch screen, which stretches to cover nearly the entire lid.

And if you're thinking of watching a couple of movies on the 4K screen, it's got a Dolby Atmos sound system, whether you're watching your movies in tablet or laptop mode.

If you're afraid of pressing down on your keyboard when you're on tablet mode -- no worries, the keyboard is automatically deactivated when its fully flipped.

According to Lenovo, the 920 comes with a battery life of up to 10.8 hours.

Designwise, the 920 appears to have addressed all the issues that customers previously had with its predecessor, the Yoga 910.

Lenovo's moved the webcam back up to the top of the screen, with many users complaining that the 910's positioning of the webcam -- at the bottom of the screen -- was at an awkward angle.

It's also increased the size of its Shift key back to a normal size, after users complained that the one on the 910 was too small.

Like the 910, the 920 also comes with a fingerprint reader.

It has also managed to beat the 910's already impressive weight.

The 920 weighs only 1.37kg (3.02 lbs) and measures 13.95mm (0.55in) thick.

On performance, the top spec version of the Yoga 920 will run on Intel's newest i7 processor, 16GB RAM and include 1TB of storage.

It comes in several cheaper flavors, starting at 8GB RAM with a 256GB hard drive, and an HD -- not 4K -- screen.

But since it's a reversible laptop, Lenovo is playing up the Lenovo Active Pen that comes with it, saying that pen can be useful for students to "learn and express themselves."

We tried it and found it to be responsive and decently weighty. Lenovo's selling it for about $40.

The laptop also comes in colours like platinum, copper and this season's hot shade of bronze. It's also got limited edition Gorilla Glass cover designs, starring different Star Wars editions.

At a starting price of $1,900 (€1,599.99) though, the Lenovo 920 is nowhere near cheap -- especially considering that Lenovo looks like it's trying to target a younger audience.

Its competitor, the hybrid Dell XPS 13," starts from a mere $999 -- though to be fair, its specs aren't quite as impressive.

But with an equal budget of $1900, we could just as well get our hands on the new 13" MacBook Pro.

In all, the 920's a pretty solid and impressive machine -- we're just not quite convinced it's worth the equally impressive price tag.
