Hannah Hart's first project in new movie deal: An LGBTQ rom-com
Hannah Hart is developing an LGBTQ romantic comedy, the YouTube star's first priority as part of her new first-look development deal with Lionsgate, announced Thursday by the studio.
"I feel so lucky and so blessed to be given the opportunity to share stories from the LGBT side of life," Hart told Mashable. "Let's have some joy, people!"

The comedian, who has about 5 million subscribers across her channels, is coming off a big year: She and pal Grace Helbig co-starred in the Fullscreen-Legendary Entertainment's reboot of Electra Woman & Dyna Girl. They also starred in Dirty Thirty alongside Mamrie Hart.
Hart's first book My Drunk Kitchen, published in 2014, landed on the New York Times bestseller list. However, it was less an autobiography -- more like a guide to eating. Her second book Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded, published in October 2016, also made the bestseller list.
She is also set to host her own Food Network show.
Lionsgate, best known for its hit Hunger Games franchise and Oscar frontrunner La Land, has been increasingly upping its efforts to tap into the digital space.
The studio released online sensation Freddie Wong’s first original RocketJump series for Hulu, Collective Digital Studio's film Natural Born Pranksters, starring YouTubers VitalyzdTV, Roman Atwood and Dennis Roady and more recently Dirty 30.
