Harambe will be immortalized thanks to high school ID photos

"Harambe lives on"

For some folks, nothing is more important then remembering Harambe, the gorilla who was killed and meme-ified after a dangerous encounter with a 4-year-old boy at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Four girls from Troy, Michigan used their student ID cards to preserve the fallen animal's memory with an expertly executed photo-op contributing to the countless Harambe memes in a unique way.

Together, their shirts spell out "Harambe 1999-2016" across the four Troy High School student IDs.

It might not all be downhill, but since the image was posted, it's been retweeted 2,500 times and cemented itself as an evergreen in the Harmabe meme catalogue.
