'Harry Potter' fan hand paints the entire first page of book one on her wall

There are Harry Potter fans, and then there are serious Harry Potter fans.

Meredith McCardle is an author based in Florida who definitely falls into the latter category. The last line of her Twitter bio even reads: "Harry Potter is a religion."

On Monday, McCardle shared her glorious new wall decoration with the world -- an actual hand-painted version of the first page of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

McCardle used an overhead projector as a guide while painting the letters, which she carefully did by hand.

And, at the end of the day, all her hard work paid off.
