The tween girls and boys of the Internet (tweens is a mental state, not an actual age) went into a drooling panic late Monday when a paparazzi image of a hatless Harry Styles emerged, showing off his new short 'do.

The pic was taken on the set of Dunkirk, a World War II drama by Christopher Nolan, in which Styles landed an unknown role. (Based on his military uniform, it's assumed Styles is playing a soldier). The film releases in July 2017.
One Direction fans have been waiting with bated breath since early May for Styles to reveal his new look after he teased everyone with a pic of his chopped off locks. The singer, who cut his hair for the movie role, donated his priceless hair to the Little Princess Trust.
Since then, Styles had only been spotted in dapper newsboy caps and beanies.

Fans thought they finally got a Styles selfie when a picture began circulating on Twitter on May 7 -- the image was only a very convincing face-swap and not a real picture of the pop star.

An image of Styles sporting his new haircut was also taken at photographer Matt Irwin's funeral and is being shared online by fans. While the image was originally shared by Irwin's family, they have since deleted it.
