What's coming to (and going from) HBO Now in April

Broadcast TV may be preparing for finales, but cable dances to a different drum. HBO's stacked summer season kicks off soon with new original programming, like the incomparable comedies Veep and Silicon Valley, as well as dozens of new movies and a little show about a throne.

Top pick:

You'd have to live well across the Narrow Sea by now not to be obsessed with this series -- or at least tired of tuning out while all your friends talk about it. Last season, lords were betrayed, children sacrificed, princess poisoned and potential kings stabbed -- and that's only in the finale. Buckle up, Westeros.
