Sorry cat and dog cafes, there's a new animal-themed cafe in town and we are dying to go there because we get to play with... hedgehogs!

Located in the vibrant Roppongi district in Tokyo, Japan, the relatively new cafe is called "Harry" -- a play on the Japanese term for hedgehog -- and has seen long queues since its doors opened in February, reported Reuters.

Hedgehogs are not uncommon as house pets in Japan.

"Harry" carries different breeds of 20 to 30 hedgehogs lounging around in their glass tanks.

At a fee of 1,000 yen ($9) on weekdays and 1,300 yen ($12) on weekends, visitors will get to spend the day hanging out with these cute critters.

A staff of Harry, Mizuki Murata, reportedly said: "We wanted to show people the charm of hedgehogs, which give the impression of being hard to handle. We wanted to get rid of that image by letting people touch them."

And from the amount of Instagram pics of these prickly mammals being posted, we'd say everyone's more than charmed.
