Henry Bowers may not be many people's favourite IT character, but he's still a pretty important one. And as anyone who's read Stephen King's novel will know, his role in the second film is likely to be almost as big as his role in the first.

Anyway, it looks like we now know who'll be playing him.

On Monday, Variety published an exclusive claiming Teach Grant, who recently appeared in Netflix's Altered Carbon, will be playing the adult version of the school bully.

Mashable has reached out to Grant's agent to confirm, but from the looks of Twitter and Grant's IMDb page, it would appear to be true.

Cue Agency, which Grant is signed to, has been retweeting articles about the casting news, and Nicholas Hamilton -- who played Henry Bowers in the first film -- also shared the story.

Grant will be part of a pretty big cast, including Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh and James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough... and, of course, Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. Back for round two.

UPDATE: June 26, 2018, 2:47 p.m. BST A representative for Grant confirmed that he is indeed playing Henry Bowers in IT: Chapter Two.
