Forget Troy and Gabriella. Your favorite East High Wildcats now go by Chorky and Lumpkinella, at least for 30 minutes on the Disney XD channel.

Those are the names given to the characters played by Zac Efron and  Vanessa Hudgens in the new Bad Lip Reading version of High School Musical, which premieres Monday, July 11.

The 2006 Disney Channel original movie, which launched Efron and Hudgens' careers, will be completely dubbed over by the anonymous creator behind Bad Lip Reading (BLR), a YouTube channel that adds entertaining vocal work to films, television shows, political clips and sporting events.

A few clips have been released ahead of the premiere. In one, the memorable scene in which Troy and Gabriella meeting on a stage looks and sounds... different. "I love good nursery rhymes and I just happen to be here," Efron's character Chorky sings. The original music has been stripped, making the exchange even more amusing.

"Stick to the Status Quo" sounds nothing like the original track. "Let's go bang on furniture," the crowd chants. The tune is also sprinkled with fake burps, so it's likely to be a hit with the tweens.
