Hillary Clinton wins the support of fashion's queen
NEW YORK – In an essentially political year, it was only inevitable that fashion would overlap with politics.
And so it was at Thursday's Marc Jacobs show, the last of New York Fashion Week.
With her signature oversized sunglasses and her bob intact, fashion's most powerful figure wore a Made For History Hillary Clinton shirt designed by Marc Jacobs, over a tweed skirt.

The shirts officially launched Thursday morning on Clinton's own website with collaborators including: Jacobs, Public School and Tory Burch.

Each of the shirts go for $45 and are "designed to help elect the first woman president of the United States, and Democrats from coast to coast," according to the site.
“My support for Hillary is grounded on our long-standing shared belief in equality," said Jacobs to Vogue.com. "I am proud to share this T-shirt as a champion for equal rights, for the progress we have made, and for the hope of continued progress with Hillary as president.”
This isn't Jacobs' first forray into politics or supporting Clinton. He did the same in 2004 and 2008 for Clinton's Senate reelection and presidential bid.
Earlier today, Kendall Jenner also posted her support for Clinton.
President Barack Obama launched a similar initiative in 2012 for his reelection with Runwaytowin.com. Twenty-three designers created apparel items ranging from T-shirts to tote bags to help elect the then senator from Illinois.
