Pantsuit flashmob takes over Union Square in homage to Hillary Clinton

#ImWithPantsuits

On Sunday, Oct. 2, an enthusiastic flashmob took over New York City's Union Square in homage to Hillary Clinton's signature look.

The group, all donning Hillary's classic pantsuit, danced to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling!" in an attempt to "combine art with a bit of activism," Crishon Jerome, one of the dance's co-choreographers, wrote on Facebook.

According to Jerome, a team of 200 people pulled off the stunt, about 170 of which were dancers.

The choreographer wrote that the event was seeking people who "don't want to see this country ruled under Donald [Trump]."

"We intended to show our support for Hillary through dance in order to celebrate life, love, freedom, justice, equality, unity, and femininity," Jerome told Mashable, "We did this all in the spirit of multi-colored pantsuits, which is both a nod to HRC and the diversity that makes America great."

"Now is the time to stand up against this bully" he said of Trump, "We want people to know that they matter and that they can make a difference, wherever they may be."

Pantsuits for all.
