Pole vaulter's penis gets in the way of his Olympic dreams
Pole, meet pole.
While Hiroki Ogita might be happy with his endowment most days, it was unfortunately the bane of his Olympics.
The Japanese pole vaulter could not have foreseen his package getting in the way of his gold medal dreams. But that's just what happened when it aggressively grazed the pole during a qualifying vault and knocked the bar off of its stand, disqualifying the athlete.

The incident occurred during a qualifying round, so Ogita did not get to move on and compete for a medal.
The pain on his face is palpable.
