Kevin Spacey's House of Cards character Frank Underwood is dead.

In a teaser for the upcoming season of Netflix's House of Cards, it's revealed that Frank Underwood has been killed off, showing a scene with his gravestone and a short monologue from his wife Claire Underwood.

Spacey, who was accused of sexually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp when Rapp was 14 years old, was removed from the cast of House of Cards as the series halted production ahead of its sixth season in 2017. In a statement, Spacey said he did not recall the incident.

In April, Los Angeles County prosecutors began investigating the allegations against Spacey.

It was made clear that Spacey wouldn't be coming back to House of Cards but now we know exactly how that's going to look in the final season: dead and buried.

House of Cards wasn't the only disappearance of Spacey after the allegations came to light. He was originally in the movie All the Money in the World but all of his scenes were removed or reshot with actor Christopher Plummer.

One movie that kept Spacey, Billionaire Boys Club, failed hard in theaters, making just $126 when it opened.

The final season of House of Cards drops onto Netflix November 2.
