'House of the Dragon' episode 3 had a green screen blooper you may have missed

Aside from the symbolism, and the theories, there's another rich Game of Thrones tradition that has so far been absent from House of the Dragon: The bloopers.

Well, not anymore.

Following Season 1, episode 3, some people on Twitter spotted a green screen error that's not quite up there with the infamous Starbucks coffee cup of the Game of Thrones days, but which was pretty noticeable nonetheless.

Yep: King Viserys' fingers, which had to be removed earlier in the season due to his illness, were suddenly back again in all their green screen glory as he handed a scroll to that messenger.

Mashable double-checked and the blooper is indeed in there — jump to 43:48 in episode three to see it yourself.

Here's hoping there's more where that came from.

New House of the Dragon episodes are available every Sunday on HBO and HBO Max.
